COOPER & DUNHAM LAWYERS RECOGNIZED AS BEING SOME OF THE WORLD'S LEADING  TRADEMARK AND PATENT LAW PRACTITIONERS

     The 2004 edition of Euromoney Legal Marketing Group's Guide to the World's Leading Trade Mark Law Practitioners was recently published. Listed in the Guide were C&D's lawyers Robert B. G. Horowitz and Donald S. Dowden.

     571 lawyers were listed in the Guide from 52 countries. 5000 questionnaires were sent to senior practitioners or in-house counsel who are trademark lawyers, in 90 countries. The questionnaires asked them to nominate those considered to be the most capable for trademark work. The Guide analyzed and screened the questionnaires for firm, network and alliance bias. The Guide then discussed its list with a select group of advisers from leading legal centers worldwide, including Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, Washington DC, London, Pans, Madrid, Frankfurt, Zurich, Hong Kong, Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney.

      Mr. Horowitz previously has been listed in the Guide.

     Norman H. Zivin received a similar honor by being listed in the Guide to the World's Leading Patent Law Experts. (2001 and 2003 editions). For the 2003 Edition, the editors distributed 4,000 questionnaires to senior practitioners or in-house counsel who practice patent law, in 75 countries, employing the same methodology.
