Alexandra Awai was born in Englewood, NJ, and grew up in Central California. She received her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2005, and her J.D. from Columbia Law School in 2010. Prior to attending law school Ms. Awai worked as a patent examiner at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ms. Awai's is admitted to the New York State Bar.
