Wendy E. Miller was born in Jersey City, New Jersey in 1964. She earned a B.S. degree in physics from Pennsylvania State University and a J.D. degree from George Washington University in 1989. Ms. Miller is admitted to the bars of the State of New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First, Third and Federal Circuits. She also is a registered patent attorney. Ms. Miller is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the Business Council for Peace, Inc. (Board of Directors, 2005-08), a non-profit organization that helps women in war-torn regions build sustainable businesses, and she has traveled to Afghanistan and Rwanda to help develop the organization's program.
