Areas of Practice


Lawrence earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame in the laboratory of Professor Marvin J. Miller.  Lawrence was then a post-doctoral research associate in the laboratory of Professor Tehshik Yoon at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Lawrence's graduate studies and post-doctoral research focused on methodology development and synthesis of biologically relevant molecules. Before attending graduate school, Lawrence worked as a medicinal chemist in the pharmaceutical industry preparing potential anti-cancer drug molecules. 

Lawrence assists clients with the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and foreign patent applications relating to biotechnology and pharmaceutical inventions, including complex natural product derivatives, bioactive small molecules, synthetic methods, pharmaceuticals, catalysts and methods of treating various diseases.
